Had another brain-glitch, then some internet stoppage, and well, no writing got done for a while, and then writing began again, but no posting, and well... Stuff happens. And then fanfic doesn't. At least not as fast as I want, anyway ( Read more... )

Hurrah. Poor Hermione. (I can't believe I forgot about McClaggen considering he's a staple in so many R/Hr missing moments fics) I liked the comparison with seekers and keepers. So what will Draco think? Does he see her with McClaggen? I'm looking forward to finding out.

Ah, it would be a delicious thing for Draco to snark about -- especially since we know his jaw dropped to the floor when he saw her with Krum at the Yule ball (and in this story we're assuming said jaw-droppage was due to Hermione's stunningness, not Krum's...);-)

Ouch. A not so-happy Hermione moment in HBP. Can't wait to see where you're going with it, and I'm happy to see you're still working on it. And yes, even a couple of hundred words is still progress.

I think Hermione is really not so happy for most of HBP. But McLaggen is a particularly ouchy moment out of several miserable months. Speaking of which-- I'm dying to know whether the Slughorn's Christmas party figures into BOS...;-)

Oh, the one thing I can tell you is that I guarantee Slughorn's Christmas party will be there--and crucial. And yes, other than Draco and Snape, I don't think anyone in HBP (including Harry) is quite as miserable as poor Hermione.
