Not exactly Nano, Day 1

Nov 12, 2006 21:21

Well-- it took me forever. I would have been glued to the laptop all day if I had aimed for an actual nano word goal. But I did get a whole 507 words.

Anyway, from today's output (whether it turns up in the final product, who knows...)

From DWFL: Chapter 4... )

*waves* Hey you! I ganked the icon from one of the dramione communities-- I lack your amazing graphic skills. Or really, all graphic skills, when you get down to it.

I love this little snippet. Its just too fun because on display is a love of language, a wonderful Draco voice, and great Hermione observations - what more could you want - well, except MORE, please!

With a chapter heading like that and a drabble like the one above, I am as usual insanelu curious and can't wait to read more. Thanks.

No thank you. Seriously. Your update nudge was part of what pushed me over into working on this again.

I was jealous of Harmony_bites' word war widget, and asked how to get one of my own. She said to come, begging and pleading and flattering, to you.

Please let me know how to get a word war widget of my own? Puh-leeeeeeeez?

PS: No flattery, but I liked the little snippet you showed here. Something about it struck me as interesting. I may have to read it all when you finish. (I give lots of praise when reading fic! I promise!)

My widget is the Zokutu Word Meter. You can find it and several other useful writery widgets on their Writers' Tools page.

Be warned, I may hold you to that 'read it when it's finished' thing. I have no shame when it comes to hunting down readers and wrasslin' 'em to the ground. ;-)

ok, what are you using to cut and paste the code into? Do you have a client, or do you use the plain old lj posting page?

Are you posting in plain/html or rich text? Because the first time I tried to post it, I was accidentally in the rich text part of my client, and of course, nothing showed up.
