While I'm staying with my parents, my internet access has been seriously, seriously limited. I haven't gotten around to commenting on all the ficexchange stories I loved, especially
argosy's and
bambu345's and several others whose authors' names I can't remember. I'm so behind on my
snape_detentions that I will never catch up! And I flaked out on due to illness on my own

I love the way you handle the D/Hr relationship. And your POV shifts are effortless. yay, me! I get to be associated with this. *cracks whip*
It's funny that your internet time is curbed by your stay with your parents. I've been here in my parents home for a while, and my internet time has shot through the roof. They have highspeed wireless. And I have developed a Stargate: Atlantis slash fixation. I really do look forward to hearing your thoughts on Breathe. Which sounds like all kinds of pressure, I know, but mainly it's just that I value your input. :) Feel well.

Oh, I dunno, I thought you did a fairly stunning job of that in Sharper Than Any Thorn actually. Like JKR, you zoom in or out on the magical details according to the needs of the story, which is just right, I think.
But thank you. And, to indulge in a big baby-like burst of insecurity-- do you really think it works? I worried it felt too...dialoguey. And the exseminis charm was...well, I was in love with the idea, but I'm not too sure about the execution...
Anyway, I'm asking because I'm considering cleaning the three parts I have and posting them to coloured grey (it being probably the least critical of archives that would take this, since clearly there are people who will read anything DHr). But you know, baby writer, very nervous...

As Sharp As Any Thorn!! Grr. People always call my story that. And the few people who've read "Of Dark and Bright" can't seem to get the title right. "Of Bright and Dark" "Of Dark and Light" You get the idea. Hmm... Maybe it's me. I hate titles, Okay, I'm done.
This is an excellent story and you should have no qualms at all about posting, but then you must finish it. Please, with all the crap in the world, and you're worrried whether it is good enough? It is to laugh. That is all.

mea culpa! (beating oneself in abject apology...well, not really, but nonetheless...)
Sorry! I don't know why my brain keeps sticking the wrong comparative form in there. Readers are dumb. You must remember that.
I take a solemn vow to finish it. Really. I have to. Cause I've already started imagining the sequel, which involves them going to Vegas.

I like the story very much*g* or I wouldn't say yes. Though I find it ironic that me the so-called SS/HG shipper has so far found herself a DM/HG beta two authors out of three...

LOL. It's that Snapeish sense of duty!
Yay! Will email part 1...it's coded for html-- is that ok, or do you need it code-stripped?

I'm so glad you continue to write! As usual, I had a look at the length, and thought, okay, I'll budget some time tomorrow, and then went ahead and read it all right then.
I know what you mean about these things leading off in different directions from where you started. I'm at a stand still on my Snape fic. I've enjoyed writing it, and may eventually post some more, but I think I'm just not connecting with anyone. I've not studied the Potter World in depth enough to do this well.
I love the details you describe and your way with words. I love how your characters interact. I look forward to reading more.
Wishing you good health!

I'm about to delve into your most recent Weaver bits-- I'm sorry you're feeling frustrated with it. I think it's very inventive--Weaver has a neat, trickster quality to her.
