I'm re-watching old ten episodes. I know I'm biased because David Tennant is one of my favorite actors, but... *sigh* I just love his Doctor.

I'm with you. I don't like the new doctor very much. David Tennant all the way!

I don't totally dislike eleven. It's just he's not *TEN*, you know? I mean, I think you can totally see how much David Tennant loved this role, and that The Doctor was a part of him. It's just so beautiful to watch his acting as The Doctor. As much as there was of it, I'm greedy and want MORE!

You pretty much summed up what I think. Eleven seems like an actor in a role, where Ten was an extension of the actor.

Ten just had that... bit extra. I like Eleven for what he is, but, you know, I had always heard the stories about people saying XXX was 'my doctor,' and I think Ten will always be mine. Tennant was just born for that role.

As doctor who has only been aired up to the first of ten's seasons (Germans don't seem to get the doctor's appeal), I'm using my sick leave to watch doctor who on DVD. My family doesn't understand me there, but they indulge me :-)

And yes, I love Tennant as the doctor. But Ecclestone was good as well.

I loved Nine. In fact, even loving Tennant, I wasn't sure for the first few of his episodes... and then... well... I never looked back.

I still love Nine more than Eleven, but TEN. I mean I'm Ten/Rose more than I should be because I don't believe in shipping the Doctor with anyone, but it wasn't until solidly after Rose left that I began to realize how much I LOVED TEN. It was perhaps in re-watching of all his seasons actually. He just, well, was The Doctor.

So, yes, keep watching! And re-watching. I like Eleven alot, and yet I'd say my 'new who' line up is resoundingly: Ten, Nine, Eleven.
