I could see Gran going with that particular line of questioning for her only grandson.

On a more technical note, do you have a beta? I've noticed you have a habit of dropping punctuation, especially periods, and your stories would be stronger if those were included.

I haven't had a beta in many years. They just didn't get back to me very promptly. I lost track of the one I had (but again, she only beta'd one story)
For the past year, it's just me on my lonesome
