Ooh, I didn't know anything about TSIK but I've been looking for a good, decent lengthed, HP fic for a while. Romance is a big plus, and I'm a fan of Marauders and Sirius :) So this seems perfect! Especially as I know the good quality of your fics! Hurray!

Oh I do hope you like it! It's... well, in my view, it's not too horrible to read unfinished, because a LOT happens in it, and most of that isn't dependent on stuff that isn't revealed yet. Sort of like when you read a book series where there's an overarching plot, but each single book makes sense?

It's REALLY LONG though, fyi. Like, 150,000 words right now and I think it's at an optimistic 1/3rd done. I sure have learned a lot since I started to write it, but I wouldn't change anything about it now. :)

If you're a fan of the Marauders and Sirius, I really think you will LOVE this fic. It's basically all Marauder fun. :D

Hee! YAY! I really need to get the fic archived at my website--but hubby JUST today changed hosts and I bet the upload won't work without my knowing the new paths... and he's asleep. Phooey.

If you don't like the format of the story on the community, it's at fanfiction.net, too (with a truly humbling number of reviews... when I update this behemoth, I end up SPAMMING 400 people or something with the update e-mail ffnet sends out? *kermit arms*), as well as harrypotterfanfiction.com (but I just realized something really awful... it's about seven chapters out of date on hpff! OMG I SUCK!). The only difference is, the lyrics at the beginning are redacted from ffnet as there's some question as to whether they'd delete the story if they were still up.

It's been so long since I've read HP that I don't know if I have any recs that you wouldn't have already read--but I do have a Snape/Hermione rec list that has a lot of long fics I absolutely adore to this day.

Yeah, the speed of it all was also surprising! Last I knew she was posting the WiP, I come back from the shower, BOOM, all gonesies. *shrugs* Thank goodness for her website, I copied down some of my favorite stories. I don't know if I could live without 'The One Where Aliens Make Rodney Do It With Everyone But John' (and, holy shit, as of right now the site is GONE. It was there this afternoon when I copied them down. WOW).

As for me, I was even LESS impressed because I've never heard of her or her fics, being new to SGA. I doubt I ever seek out anything she's done, 'cos I'm sure there are some awesome writers who aren't douchebags about it. :P

I actually just checked my delicious page and--hah, it's just the index page (that's down). (EDIT: wrong again? Maybe it's just 'smiley.zonezine.net' that's down...) Unfortunately, the individual links are numbered rather than being fic titles, so the chances that I can suss out the ones that aren't the two I put in for my delicious page are very slim.

I would still rec her stuff if anyone could get to it, to be honest, but I understand if some folks wouldn't want to read it after all that. She was actually one of my highest recced authors, as her Rodney is freakishly spot-on. If you like NC-17 rated stuff, I honestly swear by The One Where Aliens Make Rodney Do It With Everyone But John. (The 'it' in question is actually kissing, and... yeah, wow)

At this point, I'd consider it revenge to like a story of hers now that she's tried to take away access to it. But that's just me and my vindictive streak, haha.
