I remember the first ZonieCon - the one held in 1998, at the Francisco Grande Hotel in Casa Grande. Our hosts, the Tucson Mob, had brewed some Root Beer for us, and had made commemorative labels for the bottles. Each attendee was to receive a free bottle as a souvenir, and something like 50 Cents or so for each root beer thereafter. And anticipating a large turnout, they had made a LOT of it, and brought many, many bottles

I've been home brewing since my days in Virginia (Early 90's) so if you need to know anything, just ask. (It's odd that I do this, since I rarely drink).
The wire-bail bottles are over-rated. Fine if you have them, but standard caps and a capper are all you need. As a bonus, you can typically use Champagne bottles with standard caps as well. Also, any non-twist-off beer bottle can be reused. I have enough sets of former Sam Adams bottles to handle several batches at once.
For a typical 5-6 gallon beer kit, it's a good idea to have around 60 sterilized bottles handy at bottling time. Always have more than enough bottles.
