Okay... so the PLAN for Saturday was to start the morning in the woodshop making a few new glue-ups, then while they are all clamped up, attend GoldWing Parking Lot Practice (PLP), Stop by Rockler Woodworking to catch a one-day 30% off sale, then come back to the Woodshop around 12:30-1pm and make some more stuff for Potrero

It wasn't trick riding... it was a skill-building exercise that went bad.

Making tight slow circles is something that needs to be done in everyday situations, but very hard to get right on the largest production motorcycle in existence.

I got it wrong... and I can't wait until I get the okay to ride again, so I can practice that maneuver with a bit more wisdom (ie: "if the bike is about to fall, don't put your foot down without pulling the clutch lever and applying the brakes!")

Yeah, that about sums it up. The ankle doesn't hurt nearly as bad as knowing my vacation plans are screwed.
