Sally, I wish you would talk to me. I know it's something to do with Alicia, but you won't speak to me, and I don't know what to do. This is horrid, Sally. You know you're my friend.
If you want to find me Sally anyone wants me, I'll be on the practice field.

I don't mean to have such a temper over Alicia, really I don't, and it must be just awful for her to be missing Betty--I'll try much harder to be happy with the pair of you, truly. Sometimes I think Alicia is just, well, more fun, and you did think such a lot of her in our first term before you and I got to be friends!
I have been an idiot, haven't I? Just like when I used to sulk so, pretending I didn't have little Daffy for a sister! Well, maybe I'll grow to appreciate Alicia after all--and we have got the lower teams to sort out together, with just us on our own.
The lower teams! Oh, what a mutt, I hope I can get down to the field in time to help out...

You haven't been an idiot, I have. I know how my chumming up with Alicia bothers you, but I do it anyway. I'm so thoughtless, I only ever think about me. That's why you're so good for me, Sal. You're always thinking about everyone else, not just yourself. It's why you understand us all so well, I suppose!
Don't change yourself just to fit in with Alicia, Sally. I like you just the way you are. Betty will be back soon, hopefully, and then we'll have each other all to ourselves again!
