No, it's not the title of a manga, it's the birthday present I made for my mother.

I had to learn how to knit for my sister's baby, and I once saw my mother drooling when she was looking at the woolly hats and the patchwork blanket I made for my nephew, so I decided to knit something for her.

Yo soy horrible para eso, intenté aprender a hacer crochet por mi cuenta pero lo único que me salió hacer eran esas cositas para ponerle arriba un florero o un adorno, cuando quise hacer algo más complicado me trabé.

Si, la verdad es que estoy satisfecha con el resultado, especialmente después de tener que desmontarlo y volverlo a montar (cuatro veces, en algún momento quise pegarme un tiro XD).

A mí, el ganchillo se me da fatal, y no creo que nunca se me vaya a dar bien. Pero bueno, supongo que es cuestión de ponerse y practicar. Yo me daría con un canto en los dientes por hacer un adorno como los que haces tú. :)

En cuanto a la mesa, sí, es muy chula y super grande, mide cerca de tres metros. Cuando tuve que sacarla de la furgoneta con mi padre, pensé que se me romperían los brazos, ¡pesa un templo! XD

Wow! It looks so, so nice! I like the color, too.

Knitting is one of my frustrations. I can't seem to get a hang of it and I so want to learn because I'll be able to wear my creations then. XD

Thanks! ^^ The color is really nice, but I took the photo at night so the colors look a little different in the pic than they do at daytime.

I found knitting really difficult and frustrating at first, it took me almost a whole week to learn the basics, but as long as you practice you'll be able to do it. :)

Yes, she certainly liked it. :) Now she's pestering my father asking him to make her a mannequin, she wants to try different outfits on the mannequin and see how they match with the poncho. XD
