Well of course your fics are recced. *grins* I would've linked straight to your lj memories sooner if I'd have realized they were there, too, and not just on aff.net (which is still not working, damn it). Fixed that now.

I suspect that adding my YYH favourites will take some time. I have more bookmarks than I thought I did...

You were right, there are quite a few things I haven´t read. Thank you!

Also, how come you don´t have arigatomina up there? She´s... there are no words. She´s over at FF.net and you can Google her. I like Blossomwitch too, over at FF.net, her old works better than the new ones.

After marathoning YYH with a friend, my interest in the fandom was rekindled. I immediately set out to comb ff.net for good YYH fics and re-read all the classics. I thought I'd share what I found with you.

At ff.net, in no particular order:

Jesanae Tekani
For epic WIP Changing Death and Mary Sue parody Pointless.

The Kaleidoscope Syndrome, by Prosopopeia
[AU, yaoi YxH] When Yusuke's past begins to mix with his present, it's up to a certain three-eyed youkai to help keep his mind intact.

I have a soft spot about the size of Eurasia for the YusukexHiei pairing and then Prosopopeia threw in a creative plot! Set after the series! Good use of minor characters! Magic! Makai geography! Argh! I can't resist!

I second medea_aries's recommendation of Blossomwitch.

UltamiteAngstQueen
For Out of the Loop (It started with a camping trip. Well, actually, it started with Kurama, and that led to five million other things, and pretty soon, I, Kazuma Kuwabara, had became team therapist.) and not one, but two ongoing takes on how Kurama's family Finds Out. ( ... )

Escapade, by Nai-bu
Koenma's decided that Lord Voldemort has finally crossed the line by recruiting demons to his Death Eaters. Now Magical Japan is getting involved. Without, of course, the knowledge, or permission, of England. Or their school.

Probably the most notable aspect of "Escapade" is that the YYH and HP characters don't get along at all and generally don't have any desire to. What's more, this mutual distrust is rooted in cultural, political, and spiritual differences. Plenty of the YYH boys being bad. Yay!

Thicker Than Water, by Youko Koenma
At Koenma's request, Kurama must get to know the great-grandson he'd neglected for years. And poor Harry, who never realized he had family other than the Dursleys, will be drawn into a world of demons and violence.

If you really, really want crossover characters related by blood, this is the way to go. Messy and complicated and a fly in everyone's soup. A long history of prejudice and hate between wizards and demons adds spice.

Keeping Quiet, by DemonUntilDeath
A new mission's come ( ... )

Finally, a few oldies but goodies.

A Far Country, by Amanjaku
When Kurama tricks Hiei into facing up to his past, both of them step into a world much larger than they'd dreamt of.

Though I find the writing a bit rough and the plot a bit cliched in spots, overall, "A Far Country" is an interesting and entertaining read about Hiei's past and his friendship with Kurama. With cutthroat Koorime politics and the usual death, destruction, and mayhem for flavor.

Rhionae
Best known for "Masquerade" a.k.a. the Evil Little Fanfic Series and "Winter Pearls," which is no more evil than canon implies. ^_____^

Anyways, Rhionae somehow manages to pull off a slew of cliches, unlikely plot devices, and bizarre crossovers without a stumble. Or at least with a sort of graceful falling. It's simply astounding if you ask me.

The Death Arc, by nekokobanYes, the notorious and near-impossible-to-find GW crossover. Sadly, only arc anchors "Courting Death" and "Eternal Requiem" are available-all the sidefics have long disappeared into the wilds of the Internet. ( ( ... )

Two corrections:

The site hosting WhiteCat's Death Arc has a bad link for the first fic. Here's the right one: Courting Death.

"Sweet Young Boys" is, in fact, a vignette, not a chaptered fic, and Madhumalati has also written a good CCS crossover, Preparations, bringing my count to three.

Obsessed? Me? Never!
