I just finished reading Hellsing.

Someone should write me a Kuroshitsuji/Hellsing crossover because I want to see Grell and Rip being instant BFFs in the middle of a bloody battlefield.

I have not read or watched Hellsing, but it is on my to-watch list, it seems pretty cool...

Apparently the manga and the anime have more than less different plots, so the anime is on my to-watch list since the manga was interesting enough to make me curious about it. Kind of random at points and bizarre in others (Nazis vs. vampires vs. the ninth Catholic crusade, I mean what?), but the characters were badass, especially Integra and Seras.

Nazis vs vampires sounds like an epic showdown XDD I will probably watch the anime sooner rather than later, since I had already downloaded it. And then if I like it enough, I will give the manga a try.

And it just occurred to me: apparently the Hellsing Ultimate OVAs follow the last manga arc very closely. The last of the ten OVAs is supposed to air this year (Wiki says August 29). So far I've only downloaded the last part and quickly glanced at it, but the art seems to be prettier than in the 13 episode anime. No wonder since the OVAs have been made years after the anime.
