Hilarious, and also reminded me that there are people with truly attractive voices. I wish I had one. Also on the list: Alan Rickman and Stephen Fry.

Stolen from veronicacode and reposted for the pretty:

You should definitely catch up, it's a great series! They're currently in Tibet, I think, so there's still a long way to go. XD Saiyuki Reload ended with a bang and we only got a few chapter of Reload Blast (...I have no idea why the title changed again) before Minekura couldn't work anymore. Well, at least Saiyuki Gaiden was finished a while ago. Oh, and there's a few chapters of the prequel, Saiyuki Ibun, too. It's about Koumyou Sanzo's training.

Omg, they are slowpokes XDD I didn't finish Reload, but I had read all of Gaiden, at least, that was cool. The prequel sounds like fun, too, I might give it a try.

The plastic bag is a great creature indeed! Makes me wish it would be easier to refuse useless plastic in shops.

Does Gojyo actually have flowers in his hair?

Do you always get a plastic bag when you buy something? Here, you either take one and pay for it with the rest of your shoppings, or the sales person asks if you want one. It's been literally years since I bought one because they last for such a long time. I always keep one in my handbag so I don't have to get a new one.

He does! And I think Sanzo has one too. XD

It depends on the shop and size of the bag. In supermarket chains you can usually add one to your purchases before checking out, but if you don't take that doesn't mean you don't get any plastic bags. I buy a lot of greenery for my guinea pigs and usually they are in the form of a potted plant in a plastic bag. If you buy fruit or vegetables, you might need to add a few plastic bags to weight them in. It's okay to just put the sticker on a banana, but with apples it could get quite troublesome to weigh every one of them separately and I wouldn't put grapes in my bag without packing them in some way. And then with dairy products or minced meat etc they just pack it in plastic without asking you. In bookshops they have started to ask recently or you can just tell them to take it back. If it's clothes or shoes they just assume that you want the bag. For some reason they don't even think about asking while buying jewellery too. No I don't need another tiny bag ( ... )
