Yay for mature heroes and original stories. I'll try to remember her the next time I feel like ordering some books. Pity she is not more readily available. She seems to have a lot of older books, I wonder if they have as welcome world view as these.

It was refreshing to read a fantasy book with truly mature main characters.

I'd love to read more of her books but our libraries only have three. There's also a short story anthology that should have one story by her, but for some reason that's marked as a long-time loan. I should try to remember and ask about it the next time I go to the main library. It's part of their collection so they should know whether it'll ever be available or not.

I love Patricia McKillip. Ombria in Shadow is the first book of hers I read, and it was great.

Unfortunately I can never remember the plots of her books years after I finish them...unlike with most books. XD;

I'm so glad that I picked her books up and it's nice to see that others like them too. :D

It could be because the plots are rather complicated and almost dream-like? I thought it was a bit difficult to remember them and it hasn't been that long since I read the books. XD
