You pinched your nerve, yup! A physio will be able to release it.

I get them all the time, in conjunction with my other awesome wrist related pain.

I just got a grade-A massage from the bf, and I had a hot shower and just let the water smack me right in the back for awhile, so I'm hoping it won't revert to crisis status again tomorrow morning? :(

I don't get how it's caused!

I usually get them when I do something crazy in my sleep - I toss and turn a lot! Massage will totally help to release it, and if you've got a heat pack, keep that on there and it'll keep the muscles warm and able to move around.

If it's under your shoulder blade it sounds like your latissimus dorsi or possibly your erector spinae or quadratus lumborum. But the way you describe it, seems like you twisted wrong somehow. The immense pain you are in does point to a pinched spinal nerve. That sucks immensely. I advice going to see someone.

i made my hair that i'd been dying black for 10 years red on my own
I bleached it then dyed it a dark brown red
then a month later i bleached it again and then a lighter brown red
i've stopped bleaching it cause i don't really want it any lighter
but there is no way in hell i'd spend that much money on it

especially because even to this day i stil miss my black hair and i've been red for nearly 6 months now.

A pinched nerve sounds very likely. I had that when I intitally hurt my back before they found out it was dislocated. haha

I would also suggest ice to heat for a bit. Showers are really good for muscle tenderness too.
