Yeah, dude... I read one of your recent journal entries in regards to weight stuff and even though I didn't comment, I was just like "ugh, I TOTALLY relate."
I'm trying to bad a lot of really bad habits associated with certain eating disorders, and just get into the right mindframe about food. It's really hard though. The day you realize how much weight you've put on really SUCKS, but the other day, something just clicked in my head, and that's never happened before... it's like I was never really ready to completely change my eating/workout habits before now. Now I feel ready, and like FOR ONCE I'll actually be long-term successful with it...
Yeah totally. I can't believe how much I have gained in what seems to only be like.. 3 months? Why is it so easy to gain and hard to lose... Life is cruel like that I suppose, heh.
That book *reminds* me of a diary turned novel called Go Ask Alice. Same type of story from the sounds of it. If you've never read it, I recommend.
Good for you in all matters of health. An "eating journal" is a great thing to keep (and something I've been thinking of starting up again). I like the honesty of it. I can't wait for all this snow to piss off. I'm all for seasons and weather but winter has OVERSTAYED its welcome. I need spring and clear sidewalks to walk my butt off :P hahaha
I heard "American Cream" is amazing. I may get myself a sample of it next time I'm in TO. I just bought a perfume called "Sweet Honesty" from Avon. It's SUCH a strong (at first) but lovely smell. Rose, hyacinth and jade.
Go Ask Alice is a great book. In Dear Diary, she mentions Go Ask Alice a bunch of times actually. It's kind of like the Go Ask Alice for Generation X/Y I guess. :) I just really like Arfin's writing style. I'm a huge Vice junkie, and she's got that same type of cynical, insulting-but-cute voice that a lot the writers there have.
American Cream is really nice. I got a big bottle of the conditioner too, and a Godiva solid shampoo. And a few others things, haha. Oh Lush. You will be the death of my bank account.

I'm been feeling the same lately. I gained about 20 pounds since I came back to Canada and I'm NOT pleased.
