Heh heh. I almost had a dream like that last night, but it ended before I got to the good part. On the bright side, at least my sheets were still clean in the morning.
How far did you end up getting with that 100 squats challenge you were doing for a while? Just curious, because I keep hitting a wall with the 100 pushups challenge.
I was a huge DEVO fan for a while, but haven't listened to much of their stuff lately. Actually, I only have their "Pioneers Who Got Scalped" compilation that Rhino put out years ago, so I guess calling myself a HUGE fan is a bit of an exaggeration. But I was way into their music for a while, like it was all I'd listen to, especially their earlier stuff. Never got to see them play live though. Their performances are always so energetic and fun from the DVDs I've seen, so I'm sure you'll have a great time when you see them.
Sexy dreams are the best! But yeah, it's probably nice not to have to clean up your sheets the next day, haha. Luckily, most of us gals don't have that problem! Sucker!
I didn't get very far with the squats/push-ups/crunches thing. I tend to get bored of stuff. I saw that you were keeping up with the push-ups thing, are you still doing it or did you stop after you hit the wall?
Seriously, get reacquainted with "Freedom of Choice". It is SUCH a great album. After the show I couldn't stop listening to it on repeat and dancing around my house.
Still doing pushups, but haven't really progressed with it much lately. I do a few sets when I can, but my schedule's been pretty sporadic, so at this point I'm just maintaining my fitness level, but not improving on it much.
Oddly enough, as DEVO songs go, "Freedom of Choice" is not one of my faves. I like the drum intro, and the opening music, but once the vocals come in I lose interest in that one (weird, because I usually like their vocals). However, "Girl U Want", "Gates of Steel", and "Snowball" are among my top favorites. You're right, I should check out that album in its entirety. I've only heard various tracks from it, never the whole thing all the way through.
When I saw Death Cab in Toronto on Halloween one year when they came back for an encore they were wearing those hat thingers & said they were Devo & did a few of their songs.
