Well everyone, this is the final chapter of Running With The Devil, and I must honestly say I haven't been writing. I managed one chapter of the sequel and my muse stalled out. I can't complain though, I hammered out three fic in four months, and putting modesty aside I think they all turned out really well ( Read more... )

You're leaving it there?????:( What will happen next????? I hope your muse comes out of hiding real soon cause I want to see what happens next. Dean gets to torture Faith's mother, that is just way too surreal. Once again thank you for the amazing story/stories they have been wonderful and entertaining. Please try to write some more soon, and best of luck.

I'm glad I can not only write a story that people will want to read, but that they can get caught up in.

One thing you'll want to remember with all my stories is that I never wrap them up too tightly. I always write them to let you know that they were doing things before the story started, and will keep doing so after it's done.

In Dean's case his story continues in Hell.

The fact that his first victim was deliberate both in story and out.

In story she was picked because she pushed a lot of buttons for Dean. Family, kids, a woman he was (falling) in love with. A generic damned soul might have done similar, but Faith's mom made his first step easy.

Out of story I made the pick because it allowed me to flesh out Faith's childhood without having her suddenly start talking about it after not doing so both in my cannon and main cannon. (You know no one other then Tara's heard the tale.)

So, I'm glad you enjoyed it, and there WILL be more. I just don't know when.

Sorry it's taken me this long to reply. The series is NOT dead, but between real life demanding my time, and a muse seemingly happy to give it... Still, I have 4 chapters of the next fic, an outline of the one after, and a strong idea for the one after.

Just waiting for the spark, but it does incredible good to see I've still got people's interest.

I read your work early on and I only just found your personal livejournal. I also only recently finished reading this entire series from The Front onward because I hadn't realized there was more posted to Passion and Perfection. I'm desperately hoping you've been working on more.
