 ...Barely.  Last night I went down to see tekfox llamaslug and direwolf23  for wings.  Since the weather had been surprisingly mild and since vinnywest had just done a trip down to Denver with my car, i figured I'd stretch the legs of the old 300e we have.  Vinny had just gotten chains for it, and decided to test the waters to see if that was adequate for living up here.   I

Now y'see, you say educational, I say fun. Though chains are no fun at all, you only *really* need 2 on a car. One front, one opposite rear. In the event your car does not have a limited slip diff, well, I can't help you there.

Good choice about the tires. You might also invest in some cheap (tirerack.com?) steely rims for winter tires. That way you can change them out yourself. That's what I do. *eyes the stack of tires in his garage, multiple cars*

And fun it definitely was:D It was all good since I made it home, and made for a nice adventure. it's nice to have the weather shake things up a little bit:) still, I think I'm gonna stick with my studded snows;P lol.

When is your butt gonna be back out in Colorado again?

I'd like to be in spring or real early summer for a camping/hiking expedition with some friends. My birthday in february will be spent out east with family. Can you believe I'm turning 30?
