*melts into a puddle of warm and fuzzy goo* Oh, that was so lovely! I will admit, I saw the word count and got a bit worried, but this is possibly the most beautiful and striking portrayal of their pain and in so few words. I feel like I read all the development of a 10k fic in just under 1,500 words and that, Mystery Author, is an amazing thing for me. It's the sort of short fic that I adore and I want to snuggle it up to pieces and keep it forever.

♥ Absolutely amazing work!

While there are so many differences between Hermione and Luna, they still share an awful lot. Love how they're helping each other trying to cope with the war and its consequences.

It's so sweet I could cry. I love how you portray the darkness and depression of postwar, and how well Hermione and Luna help each other through it. You've really made them work, and it is lovely.

This is beautiful. Sad and real and yet so full of quiet hope. My heart breaks for Hermione in her relationship with her parents. She did a terrible thing to them but she did it because it was the only way she knew to protect them, though of course they don't understand that and never really can. So glad Luna was there for her with her unique blend of fancy and insight, and that she was able to help Hermione through it as Hermione helped her through it. Lovely story.
