Wow. This was hauntingly beautiful. I'm a big Hermione fan, so the opening scene was heart-wrenching and I was hooked from there. I appreciated the details-- Victory Day, and the fact that Pansy was a professor in the surely darkened Hogwarts. Rose's characterization was great-- as a mental health professional who works with (often neglected/abused) children, her reactions to her situations are spot on. Well done!

Wow, this is great. I love all the ambiguity, how Rose sees Pansy as being so kind when the atmosphere and background make you feel something else entirely. I felt so sad for Hermione and Rose in this. Very well done.
