Ro was telling me everything he had put in our Mini-Bug out first-aid kit and how by winter, we and Miles will have bug out bags with everything we would need to stay alive, comfortable, and secure if we got caught and buried in a blizzard for a couple weeks or more.

It was nice to know he doesn't see all studying and reading I do as pointless or nerdy and frivolous but is rather proud that I know all the things I know. Sometimes, you think you are taken for granted.... but then your love/partner starts to list off everything that made them 'pick you' from the genetic pool in the first place and you think "Aw..Ok.. he may not SAY it everyday, but he remembers and still thinks I am X, Y, and Z."

I guess it's like when a little old couple tell each other they still find each other attractive. Like the musical says 'It doesn't change much... but it's nice to know..'
