Dear flist,

I know it's a odd favour to ask, but please, could everyone of you spend a minute or 2 telling your MP, and particular anyone and everyone within the LibDems and Labour parties to not let the cuts to the benefits system (that are part of the Budget) get through. (i.e. get them amended out, or vote down the whole piece of crap)

to clarify, as I confused twiggy;

LHA currently means your household could afford, without need to top it up out of other benefits, 1-in-2 of all houses on offer which match the deemed 'needs' of your household.

the change would mean you - and everyone else on it - could only afford 1-in-3. (And thus cause all matter of bad and punative effects)
