I HAVEN'T REPLIED TO ANYTHING FOR LIKE, TWO DAYS AND I WAS TOTALLY GOING TO CLEAR MY INBOX TODAY, BUT MOCKINGJAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY
( Read more... )
I always read the last sentence to a book before starting. I set myself to be disappointed by the last line (a surprising amount of them SUCK SO HARD), so when the rare OMGOMGOMG SO AMAZING one comes along, it's awesome!
As for spoilers, it really depends on the spoiler. Like, I knew about the very very end of Inception before going in, and it was comparatively anticlimactic. BUT there are some series/books/movies/spoilers that don't matter as much.
Yeah, a lot of people's last lines are terrible, like they're trying too hard to be deep, but some are JUST RIGHT.
I agree with you about the spoilers, it depends on the spoiler, just. MY FRIEND READ SPOILERS FOR THE ENTIRE BOOK. I still can't get over that she did that.
OOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMGGGGGGGGGGGGGG GO BUY THEM NOW. AAAAHHHHHH. Haha, are you for Peeta or Gale?
I agree with you that the spoilers depend, like how I'm not watching Torchwood Children of the Earth because I know what's going to happen and I DON'T WANT IT TO BE REAL.
DUDE MOCKINGJAY LAST PAGE IS SO SPOILER-Y. SPECIFICALLY ON THE PEETA OR GALE FRONT.
Yeahh, by the end of the first book, you're just like, "who's Gale? She has a relationship with him? What?"
BUT PEETA'S REALLY NICE. A SWEET COUNTRY BAKER BOY. ♥
Aaah, that sucks. Tosh was a great character, I loved the episode where she and Jack were stuck in the past and she was beast and figured out how to tell Owen and Ianto what happened to them.

I don't like spoilers and try to avoid them at all costs. I mean, I think it takes part of the excitement and surprise away.

I mean, my friend who read the spoilers online basically has no point in reading the book anymore, since she knows everything that happens. AGH.
