They'd fallen instantly asleep after returning from the Burrow. There had been biscuits, tea, more discussion, a tour of Fred's old room, and Dad's shed, random discussions of muggle items and then more tea. When Fred woke he couldn't actually remember what day of the week it was

"Hey, I know that smile by now. That smile tells me somethings wrong." He reached up and touched Fred's face. "It's all right love. I'm not upset, okay?"

Oliver looked at him. "I'd prefer you not see it. But I will take you to meet mum first. That fair enough?"

He shook his head. "So? He flirted, so what? I flirt with people, it doesn't mean anything. Yeah it surprises me."

Fred was going to kill the man. "Okay."

"Bill will be quiet but pleased. Charlie will be Charlie - likely say we're entirely insane. Percy is not invited. Ron won't care and Ginny will... I hope she'll be happy for us." Fred grinned and kissed Oliver's neck. "George would never poach, but he does have taste."

"Good," he said, smiling. "I'll see if I can't get in touch with her next week. I want to tell her soon so that I can get this over with with him." The last time. He was over the moon about that.

"Course he'll say we're insane and no Percy isn't invited. And love," he turned and kissed him. "Ginny is going to have a tough time with this. Expect it. But I can't see anything ever making her not love you."

Fred was frankly terrified about the whole thing - that Oliver's mother would hate him, that Oliver would get hurt, that Fred would lose it and kill the bastard. Fortunately, Oliver had his back to him.

"I'll talk to Ginny. It's not like I'm ditching her. I love her to pieces. I hope she knows that."

"Babe, I know that. But she's not known for being rational. Just... be ready for it, is all. I'd offer to tell her myself but they'd never find the body."
