Syfy - After seeing what they did with Riverworld and Earthsea, I'm fully prepared to be disappointed.

I watched the SyFy version of Riverworld. It was OK, but it helped that I had read all the books so I understood what was happening. As for Earthsea, I think the anime version was better. Here's to hoping the channel does as well as they did with Dune, although that one had the movie to compare itself to. Millions of dollars on casting, costumes, and special effects, but not enough on a script.

Yeah, I can relate, but it's been 30 years of frustration for me. At least I might get something for my trouble.
