Christ...even going to the original article, even downloading the graphic, it's too small to read all but the very largest of the text, and none of the little circles, whatever they say.

Seems like information that should be readable...though I doubt auto makers are so myopic they would only see what happens in Detroit and not the rest of the world.

We also live in a city that until the redevelopment of downtown, and a few high-density areas over the last 5 years, was very unwalkable, forcing people to have a vehicle to live within the area. The public transport is not even a funny joke, it's so pathetic. unless you live on a shuttle route and only need to go to UT, it's practically useless.

it's still largely like that since the condos within walking space of the redeveloped zones are all above the national and regional averages in price. folks from california find it refreshing since the property values are lower than where they came from, but the effect is pricing pretty much everyone out of the city, musician's and bottom-rung service workers suffering the most from the city's growing pains.
