How I spent Buy Nothing Day

Following is an expanded version of a comment I posted over at jblaque's LJ today and thought was worth reposting.

TV was so bad today that kaligreeneyes and I watched "Ernest Saves Christmas." We then switched to a marathon of "Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives" on Food Network. I closed off by watching part of a marathon of "Ultimate Factories" on National Geographic.

I watched a "Mission: Organization" marathon. I did end up going out to CVS to pick up a prescription I neglected to get earlier in the week. I didn't buy nothing, but what I did buy were only things I would've bought anyway.
