I must repost this, except The Pirate Party.
Like the Sex Party (or whatever) find single issue parties lack proper policy development.

The Greens are against the feed, and I'd trust them to scrap it. The Libs? Oh, how they would love it. Have Abbott et all said anything much? I've seen nowt so far.

Yeah, I'm considering my options. I'm tempted to join the Pirate Party, but it may be more useful to join EFA. I could of course join both.

EFA? Fine. They are a lobby group.
TPP? Too small, unorganised, unlikely to make a difference (and have no hope in hell of winning a seat in the HOR).
The Greens are priobably the only viable alternative if you're wanting to make a difference on this (and other) issues, Australian politricks being what it is.

Yeah, probably. Although the idea of being a "Founding Member" of a political party is kind of cool :)
