Yeah, so I read Harry Potter and enjoyed it, but was severely disappointed. One of these days I'll post my rant, but Rachel's quiz distracted me too much, so I took it. And then I was sad because it kept telling me I was different people. It especially liked to tell me I was Ginny Weasley. Ginny's cool, but she's practically a "prop". So

It would be entirely pointless if only the unimportant, uncool characters died. And obviously all of the good ones are not going to live, because it's a wizard war. People die. A lot of people die. And many of those people are going to be good characters. It would be stupid if they all managed to live through 7 books of incredible danger.
What I DO think she should have done, was elaborate more on some of the deaths. I mean with Lupin and Tonks it was like... *turns page* WTF they're dead?!
Also, it's just a hunch but I think having Fred die was related to Percy somehow. Like a part of his last-minute character development...at least that's what his reaction to it made me think. You know, he just recently decides to redeem himself and return to his family, and then he suddenly loses his brother right in front of him. Kind of a low blow. Sure, he may have deserved punishment, but not quite that much, especially because it involved his innocent brother.

Yeah, same here. I think a funeral scene for all of the deaths would have been nice. It kinda felt like most of the characters got over Fred's death rather quickly.
I wonder if Fred would have survived if it was him and George fighting together rather than him and Percy... Fred and George seem to be unbeatable when they're together cause they have a special chemistry, if you know what I mean...
Twincest?
Lawl, in all seriousness, I think they probably would have survived. You're right, they did always seem so unbeatable together.
