Now, as you may know...Magister Magi Negima is one of my alltime favourite mangas. Ranked up there with evangelion and Chrono Crusade, it never dissapoints. While it is admittedly slow in starting (the first 2 volumes are fanservicey drivel which serve only to get you familiar with the characters), from volume 3 onwards it comes into its own and

I borrowed 2dvds of the original anime and gave up after one episode due to it being shockingly urgh. But if the new one gets your seal of apporeval I'll give it the full 3 episode test, it'll give me something to watch while I wait for Death Note/FMP if nothing else.

As for advice, don't buy the model. I've bought loads of different models for various stuff, and most of it was a waste but go for the hair dying worst case situation you have to dye it back to somewhere near natural and chalk it up as a life exercise. Best case it looks kicking rad.

id been waiting for you to post something so i could recommend "TAIMASHIN", its an oldish manga about a doctor who fights demons with acupuncture needles. Its freakin sweet and his assistant is kickass too =)
