Awwwww, you cried??? *hurriedly brings you a box of tissues*

This was a sad story though our boys did get together in the end. I think all the work i've had to do lately has put me in an angsty mood. *sighs*

Wow...That was DARK and haunting and extremely emotive. I loved it and the ending gave me shivers.

Thanks! That was exactly what I was trying to achieve.

I love dark Spangel - it always works better as far as I'm concerned, and you countered it beautifully with their love, which pushed them to such depths. Fantastic!

I love dark Spangel too. Their love, no matter if they're demons or humans, will always be dark. They'd always find a way to be together, despite the costs.

*nuzzles you in contentment*

Oh... beautiful but very sad. The ending got me right here. Xander was so twisted, it was very scary.

Xander was so twisted, it was very scary.

The end of BtVS gave them all hopeful endings but I always felt that what they've seen and done would've changed them a lot. And not necessarily for the better.

If Angel and/or Spike had ever Shanshued, Xander would not be happy. Especially since here, Angel is with Willow while Xander is all alone. In a way, Xander is the real victim of this story. Unlike Angel/Spike, he fought for the good fight without any special powers but he received nothing in return. All he got was a death sentence while the former demons got all the glory and happiness. It was bound to warp his mind. Only now, he could do something in revenge because Angel/Spike were no longer as invulnerable as they once were. What he did will definitely leave a mark on Angel and Spike.

Interesting look at what might have been. I feel so sorry for them all (except Xander).

Thank you. What Xander did was very wrong but he himself was a victim. Not that it excuses what he did. But anyway, the important thing is that our boys ended up together in the end.

*kisses*

I enjoyed it, and I've never really liked Zander much, anyway. It leaves me with lots of questions though: Angels disappearance, his stalking Spike, his chilly body temp and effortless carrying of said blonde, are you alluding to Angel becoming a vampire again? If so, does that mean he was souless, and maybe responsible for Willow's death?

Hmmm...you might be on the right track! *grins evilly*
