Man, you really are lucky. I -may- meet some friends in England this summer, but I'm not even sure if I'll be going anywhere, so. It must feel really great, meeting your online friends offline. I know that a lot of people worry that it won't be the same if they meet offline--sometimes to the point when they do NOT want to meet offline at all because they're just too nervous and scared that the friendship will be ruined. I don't really understand that--how and why would an offline meeting ruin a friendship? Either way, good luck to you!

Haha I've been making some new friends both offline and online recently. I think it's always good to meet new people--but you don't have to become super close with everyone. It feels nice to have somebody to talk, though.

I understand that fear. There is the slight threat that things will be different offline, but on the other hand, it could improve the relationship. It's worth the gamble to meet them.

Yoi've hit the nail on the head, there, Ray. I don't intend to become super-close to these people. As I said in my last entry, I prefer many not-so-close friends to a few close friends, simply because of who I am. Therefore, I'm not going to spend every moment of the day with these people. And I'm glad you're doing well on the friendship front!

Really? I'd say about only ..once a week, lately.

Is it weird that I'm planning on stealing your "meet a new person every week" thing once I'm in college? It IS a good idea. And you seem to be doing just splendidly at it, bravo. XD
