Very belated/preview cosplay pictures

Ok, so these were never posted for a couple reasons. The first (which sharp eyed people may spot) is that this isn't actually done yet. I made it for Gencon back in August but ran out of time to finish it ("What do you mean, it's August 1st? When did July happen?"). I swear your Yue Ying image is going to get *STUCK* in my head now. Whenever you write Pi/Xun or Ce/Yu now, I'm going to see the image of Yue Ying writing on bamboo scroll as Kongming bends down from behind curiously. "What is it that you've been studiously composing, my wife?"

Part of the reason I picked Yue Ying was because I've always wanted red hair, but I don't want to dye mine. :/ The wig looks lovely in decent light, but it was really dark in the exhibit hall, and the lightning just killed it.. I'm thinking about replacing it, since it's currently a tangled mess and I'm too lazy to untangle it.

XD It's official: I just laughed so hard I couldn't breathe. Now I won't be able to get that image out of my head, either... They're not in Shu, so it's not hurting anyone to be writing such things, right?

Any plan for other cosplay in the future? '3' Cao Pi, perhaps?

The mental vision has gone out of control! Now I'm imagining Yue Ying as a BL novel author getting fan-letters from the readers in Shu, mostly female, but then a couple of suspicious notes managed to make their way into her letter-piles, complaining about her choice of matchmaking the lousy prince of Wei with their cute idol. They also not so subtly suggested that there were more worthy subtitutes available in the rank of Shu generals. Signed by Anonymous. And Yue Ying would sweatdrop and -_-; at one particular letter ("Jiang Wei, do you think I wouldn't recognize your handwriting?")

But Cao Pi never got to see it! ...As far as we know.

I don't currently have plans to make any other Koei costumes in the near future. I've been thinking about cosplaying either DW5 or SF2 Da Qiao, but that won't be until next January at the very earliest; I've got too many projects for my next few cons. (I don't crossplay for a couple of different reasons, so while certain boys are tempting, they're just not options for me.)

XD Alas, poor Jiang Wei. You'll just have to look elsewhere, I'm afraid.
