Gah. Your dad's a great guy, I hope he finds someone who actually fits him. ;__;

Oh, man. Is this why I have eight missed calls from you? *grins* (Actually, I got the last one! Only I couldn't hear you, and you apparently couldn't hear me, and my ride was arriving so I couldn't talk... :()

I'll be around tomorrow morning my time, if you want to try me then. I think your dad is awesome about this, and I hope he's able to find someone who wants to fit in with your family. That would be so much better than a wedge. :P

*dies* Eight? Man, I'm sorry. I blame the redial button. >.> I'm not freaking out or anything, I just promised to call you, so I'd try once, hit redial, leave it awhile while I got house jobs done and then hit redial again when I passed the phone. (Weird. O.o I wondered why it didn't go through to your voicemail. I was going to leave a message and go to bed, but I just crashed, instead.)

Glad you made it safe!

Wedge -- *laughs* yeah, seriously.

*hugs tight* I was 14 when my dad's second wife left him, and was there for several subsequent girlfriends. Your dad sounds like a really decent, good man who deserves better. (Though I wish he could have been there for you more-I have some of those same resentments concerning the current stepmother, whom he married when I was 18.) It's really hard seeing someone you love treated badly, and being stoic about it. I hope your dad, when he gets past the reeling sadness, remembers he's a loveable, good man, and finds someone who can really appreciate him and be a partner to him, and who can also be there for you and your brother.

Ash texted me about this yesterday. Uber sucky. Hope you're both ok- still a head funk I'd imagine even if you never really saw her. And hope your Dad's ok. Sure he'll find someone else more suited to him. And I agree with his hugs and kisses wantage- you don't realise how much you missed them until they suddenly come back into your life!

(Mayeb he could get back with the lady with the little son he dated when we were in sixth form or someone similar- you could have a kid to throw about and corrupt again!)
