The "appeal against dismissal" process rumbles on. It's happening on Thursday, it seems, although at what time is in question: I can't make 2.15pm and I suspect that it's been set at that time because nobody can make any other time but if I can't make it, there's nothing I can do about it. Yeah, slowly's the word. Eventually I'll have Darkmasque transformed how I want it, and all I need is some shelves, some pieces of MDF, some curtain rails and poles, and a keybox. And a lot of other things.

The fact Joanna has more or less nothing to do and virtually no character makes it pretty hard to identify with her. Yes, it's noble that Anthony wants to save her from Rickman's tyranny but there's no reason for it other than "it's the right thing to do".

Los Campesinos! are great and there's lots of violin in them, so you may well enjoy them. Johnny Foreigner were terrific too although they're probably more a band Chris would enjoy.

And "the best one I've had in a while" is like saying "this is the tastiest horseshit I've eaten", really, but yeah, training's been pretty alright.
