On the contrary. These efforts keep them quiet and out of the way. That way, they're less of a hindrance to the people who want to accomplish something to help this place.
You're different. So why bother? After watching this happen this many times, isn't it just as futile to complain about it? Ignore it, let them play as long as the more superior people can get something productive done, and accomplish something instead.
Perhaps it would be best if she clarified as to how she intends to use diplomacy in relation to what she's trying to accomplish. Is she intending to keep those who would otherwise be fodder at bay to prevent them from getting involved in something beyond their capacity, like you said, or is she intending on trying to reason with the Entropi? The latter is, of course, a futile attempt. And I am tempted to say the former is as well, but that is my own bias towards situations that contributed to my straying from politics.
You misread me, Miss Mercury. I am not complaining, merely stating that given an unclarified situation, diplomacy is not worth the effort. There are times, as hard as it once was for me to say it, that are beyond diplomatic control. Sometimes, violence is the only answer. Some people cannot be reasoned with no matter how hard you try or who they may be.
Well. If she means diplomacy towards the Entropi, I've lost even more respect. For the time being, that's impossible, to say nothing of pointless. We lack the resources to make it possible for now, too, no matter how skilled the so-called diplomat is. It's out of the question.
I understand! Just because I don't want to get involved in this nonsense and don't move my lips about it more doesn't mean I'm not concerned. I'm someone who can actually fight the Entropi; the best way for me to contribute to this place is to gather a team like I had last time and do that, when the time comes. In other situations, I'll organize those when the time comes, too.
It's not that a leader isn't helpful. It's that a leader needs to take Econtra into account and none of them have yet. For example, it's pressured doing things last-minute that way, but that's the only way for Econtra. Then you're depending on resources and people you have instead of ones you might not have when your plans require them.
