That is so sad. Chris has an absolutely charming aunt with Down's Syndrome, and she is one of my favorite people ever. I'm so glad that someone didn't abort her because she was "genetically inferior". Speaking of just this issue, did you see the "trading Spouses: Meet Your New Mommy" this evening, on Fox, with the crazy bigoted woman who traded places with the lesbian mom and told the other mother (the other mother in this lesbian relation ship, whom she was speaking to, had a developmentally disabled sister, and told the insensitive woman this fact) that she would abort any child who had any defect, and that she thought that this woman's "birth defect" was being gay? Crazy.

People make me mad, crazy people. Sometimes you just have to laugh at them.
I'm totally amused though by the idea of say trying to diagnose gayness in the womb. The ultrasound tech is all "See, your little boy makes very typical gay male gestures with his hands. Seventy two percent of male babies that make those gestures turn out to be gay."

can they tell if your baby has that oh-so-gay lisp in the womb? Or maybe a proclivity for dresses? How is it that people think they are going to diagnose the lust for hot man-love in the womb??? LOL!

I think not somehow...
