Did she bother to get multiple quotes? Most likely she just went with the installation at home depo or wherever she got the tub, and that is expensive. It's expensive because they know people are lazy and won't look around for a better deal.
Now my bathroom cost $4000, but my dad did all the re-tiling, so did save some money there.
My mother isn't ver bright. So who knows who she used but they saw Sucker all over her face. Serioously $6000 for an easy install one piece tub? :shakes head: She did this same stupid shit when she bought a ceiling fan and the installer didn't run the wires through the ceiling but just stuck ran the wires out in the open from the ceiling down the wall of the living room. God it looks so tacky its ridiculous and I asked her why she didn't have them run through the crawl small so wires aren't showing. Cause it looked ghetto. She told me the intaller said her couldn't do that? Can you say lazy? My mother just knows how to pick them. Really...she is not too bright when it comes to home ownership.
Oh and was it your whole bathroom or just the tub/shower you did at ur house that cost that much. Cause again she just did the bath tub/shower combo that's it!
