Well, I didn't get the job. Apprently, a simple misdomeanor (Disorderly conduct, which was me telling some grocery clerks throwing me to the ground "fuck off and die") was enough to keep me from getting the job. I've had other employers see this and they've never had an issue with it (nor did my current landlords). They did say that otherwise I ( Read more... )

That sucks, but you will at least be able to get unenjoyment.. You may want to try to apply at Qwest. We are going to be going on strike soon, and they will be looking to hire people to do our work while we are out. Not the best situation, but 12 hours a day should net some good income while it lasts.. and it could turn into a full time job.

scab eh? I have no problem with that. Not that I think scabs make a huge difference in a strike situation--most of the time it gets settled, someone else got to make decent cash temporarily.

I figured you wouldnt have an issue with it. Its management that is going to be doing the work, which is going t be hilarious because only one of the managers in my office has a clue as to how to do my job.
