"I really like you, Sofia," he said. Sofia’s grin widened.

"I was actually think we wouldn’t go out," said Danny, watching Jennifer blink and frown. "You want me to cook for you?"
"You can cook?"
"I’m Italian, of course I can."
"Your place?"
"Yeah, I’ll meet you out front?" Jennifer nodded and Danny leaned in to kiss her on the cheek. Jennifer blushed as a grin spread over her face.
"I’ll see you in a minute then," she said, beaming as Danny left the room.

"Called in? I volunteered. All the good cases happen on Valentine’s Day, Nicky. Besides," continued Catherine with a sigh. "It’s not like I have plans."
"Maybe we’ll get to work together," said Nick, sounding hopeful. Catherine looking at him over her shoulder and returned his hopefulness with a smile.
"I’d like that, Nick. Maybe we will."
Nick stood up and headed for the locker room door. He paused and turned back to look at Catherine.
"You want to grab breakfast on the way to our scene then?"
"Yeah. That’s sounds nice."
"Alright, I’ll see you in a sec, Cath."

Kaile was jittery. She liked Ryan. She liked him a lot and she never thought of him as the kind of guy to think of any body at work as anything more than a coworker. She didn’t really think he’d ask her out.
"Kaile!" she turned to see Ryan walking up to her, thankfully without his white jacket. She didn’t really like that thing on him, now that she thought about it, she preferred him in jeans and those t-shirts he wore, the one he was wearing now, for instance.
"Hey, Ryan," said Kaile with a grin. He stopped next to her and nodded out into the ocean they were standing next to.
"You have a thing for waves?"
"Our first case was over here."
"Yeah, I remember," said Ryan, a grin tugging on his lips. "For some reason that was a good day."
"I thought so too."
Kaile sat down where she was, letting the cool air from the ocean sweep over her. Ryan sat down next to her and looked her over, taking in the sweatshirt, jeans and sandals, thinking how glad he was that Horatio let him have the day off.

Dan was sitting at his computers when he heard his lab doors open. He sighed, picturing one of the CSI’s coming to see if he’d found anything on their case. He tried to concentrate and steady himself for the CSI in question to speak up.
Instead, he felt two arms encircle around his neck from behind and someone press a kiss to the side of his neck.
"Hey," said Cynthia quietly in his ear, making Dan shiver. "You having fun?"
"My eyes hurt," said Dan, turning his head and kissing Cynthia properly, reaching up and burrowing his hand in her hair. Cynthia grinned against his mouth and kissed him back.
The two broke apart as someone in the doorway clear their throat. They turned to see both Delko and Wolfe standing in the doorway, looking at them in surprise.
"Is everyone in this lab going out?" Ryan wondered out loud, giving Eric a look. Cynthia rolled her eyes and kissed Dan again, earning a gag from both onlookers before pulling away.
"I should get back to work," she said, Dan untangled his hand from her hair and nodded, watching her slide past Ryan and Eric.
"Get a life you guys," said Dan turning back to his computers, a grin hovering around his face.
