( If someone had told Ruby a year ago that she'd be waking up in the morning wrapped around an overgrown human boy, she’d have laughed in their face. )

Aw, this was neat! I'm fascinated by Sam and Ruby's relationship, and this was a nifty moment in it: Ruby spooked by illness and raw human vulnerability, but sticking by just the same - so she can end the world, obviously. :)

Thank you! I think their relationship is fascinating too--it's so messed up and twisted, but it did always seem like there was honest emotion there. Thanks for commenting! :D
