I felt my vector-muse again and made a comic-styled vector of this beautiful pic of Jensen we all know well. The shapes were made with Adobe Illustrator. The lights, blush and shadows were added later with Adobe Photoshop.

I have a mad love for comic-y looking graphic art. Sadly, I can't draw people to save my life, so I have to stick to Photoshop and manips. And while I'm reasonably good at that, I have no real clue how Illustrator works. People keep telling me it's awesome though. Do you have to draw all the shapes yourself, similar to using a CAD program? Or can you convert the images into vectors and then clean them up? Man, if this is what you get out of it, I might have to learn how to use that damn program after all.

I draw all shapes individually from face-layers to eyelash, using brushes, too. And I work with mouse and graphic tablet, depending on the complexity of the vector.
Yes, try it, I´m an .ai-fan since I dared coming out of my Freehand-shell 5 years ago. It´s so much fun...
