I didn't see "Yellow Brick Road", but as for the other: very, very cool. (And I love that particular re-telling of Snow White. It's stays in your memory, like a ghost.)
Thanks mer_moon, I don't know if you were at mythic journeys but the Atlanta Radio company did a show of "Snow Glass Apples" that captivated me! (and during the break the audience got to be recorded as yelling mob for a future radio play :) which was fun too!
Yellow Brick Road is in my previous entry if you would like to peak.. its another shoe one lol! I don't know what got into me with the shoes, I suppose because they are so important in Oz ... but I made Dorothy's smexy! I'm doing a unit with my student on pop art and they are working with Warhol inspired shoes so maybe a bit of that rubbed off on me too!
thanks so much, I didn't think of Toto's perspective! What a great insight! I started with the ruby slippers then decided I wanted the witches shoes too :) I haven't read the Wizard but I love the iconic elements of the main characters, its interesting I think of them as iconic and not archetypes (I suppose there is a difference?) I wonder if Oz has been brought up on storybookland? I can't remember?

I like all the Oz pictures, it's as if it's all from Toto's perspective, except of course the one with Toto, himself ;)
