That passage seems kind of biased. I wonder if it was referring to vampires from one specific world or generalizing all of them?

I have no clue~ The library in this City is a bit bizarre... I get the feeling I should look for information on the network rather than the books I read there... ;x

Does Clow-san know a lot about vampires and the shinigami? :3

The network is a bit more organized, that's for certain.

The Shinigami from my world aren't really anything like the ones here. As for vampires, I can't say that I know much about them from my own world other than that they're immortal. Aside from that and the blood-drinking they seem to be more or less like regular people.

By "elude" you mean "avoid death" or "avoid understanding"? The first would make the best sense, I don't think anyone would want to die. The later, however... Hmn... I think a lot of people are curious about the afterlife... I know I am... but if it was like what I experienced recently, then I don't want to die even more.
