First time writing this pairing
Colby makes the bed every morning army regulation style without even thinking; when Charlie comments he just smiles and says, “Some habits are hard to forget.” He then says with a devilish smile, “It also makes it a lot more fun to get into.”
Charlie grins before going back to grading his tests.
Colby makes dinner for the two of them as often as he can. He tells Charlie he likes cooking for him and that his momma taught him.
“I think--no, I know--my mom would have liked you,” Charlie says as he looks up from the data he is processing for the latest FBI case.
“Yeah?” Colby asks, almost tentatively.”
“Yeah, definitely.”
Colby makes love with Charlie, trying to help his lover forget his brother was shot earlier that day. He says over and over again in his ear, ‘It’s ok Charlie, he’s fine. He had on his Kevlar.”
Charlie looks over at Colby later on while they watch TV. He says, "Thanks Cole. Thanks for all of it."
