He watches the way he gives exposition over cases in the war room and how soft his lips move with each syllable. He studies the way his body moves, effortlessly, like a cat on the prowl.
The smallest movement David makes transfixes Charlie, it makes his mouth go dry and feel like butterflies are floating in his stomach. He doesn’t know why he feels this way. He doesn’t understand the feelings he has and he certainly has tried to quantify them with every mathematical equation he could think of.
Charlie can only sit back and study David never anything more.
