- Make friends with the ancillary staff. Cleaners, porters, wardspeople, tea ladies, security, reception ... and most importantly, the ward clerks.

Oh man, I am going to share this with one of my derby girls who is also a nurse. I bet she'll get a kick out of it!

What is it with nursing and derby? Between the two teams in the Sydney league, we have at least three or four nurses, including the captain of the Screamin' Assault Sirens.

I suppose we do have access to lots of bandages, and the best painkillers... ;)
