Our insane summer mini-heatwaves have given way to a few damp and cool mornings (though I hear this evening is going to edge into humid/dank territory), so I think it's understandable that my lizard brain has been temporarily fooled into thinking that we are starting to slide into autumn - my most favorite time of the year. I feel like I am coming

Heh! I liked the title he has on his site for that particular piece - "Olden-Time Woman Bike Racer". Maybe I have a crazy idea of what constitutes "olden times" (or perhaps the era in my head doesn't quite match the one we are currently experiencing) but that biking broad looks pretty hip to me!

And THAT'S GREAT re: The Mister. That was cautious, respectful enthusiasm, by the way. But still! GREAT!(whispered shout!)

Hee. Thanks for the (cautious, measured) congrats. He's training again today and will be going to the "corporate HQ" tomorrow.

I like the title of that particular illustration as well.. though with the woman apparently biting her lower lip, I would also accept "Hip Vampire Chick on Fixie".
