Yeeeeeurgh.

After successfully avoiding the two previous waves of sickness that rolled over my workplace over the last few months (the head-to-chest cold thing and the sinus cold thing) I managed to start up with the phantom-post-nasal-drip thing last night ( Read more... )

Hugs, and tea with honey, and all that good stuff to both of you. Take care of yourselves. Me, I think I'm on the far side of the sick hump, and I survived with only minor discomfort - not the doozy I was expecting. (Knock on wood. It ain't over yet.)

Whew! I'm glad to hear it wasn't the wallop you thought it would be.

I'm back at work today... so far so good. I've got a dry-ish hacking cough, but it's not as bad as it could be. I think (I hope) taking yesterday off cut my sick-time down significantly.

Woohoo! baby-mamma drama at the office is always sucktastic!

You should have been here for the love triangle mess that almost cost the jobs of three employees here and another in another city!!!!

Hope you get the creeping crud of doom beat!

Yeesh. Office drama: so unnecessary, and so frustrating (because it's happening right. there. and I can't get away from it).

The creeping crud still got me, but I'm hoping I eluded the brunt of it.

Sorry I missed your call last night! It was coming up as a nursing/health care headhunter's number. o.O

Yeah, it'll do that unfortunatley because the VOIP routes through a Berkley, CA service that is used by a lot of other companies. Anyway, if it is 510 area code then it is prolly me. I tried again this morning.. ALAS! you hate me!!!

*goes off to cry*

No! Don't cry! I don't hate you... we just need to work out when to call... I'm not good for being on the phone right now... can't go 30 seconds without a wracking coughing fit. How 'bout we try again some time next week? (Maybe even as early as this weekend if I can get enough rest and heal up.)

I hope you took a day of rest and recuperation. If the crud in your neck o' the woods is anything like the one I got, it's sort of like a hangover -- about all you can do is sleep it off and drink lots of fluid.

I'm glad the insurance company inertia has lifted and you're getting help in that front, also. And by the mid of next month, spring will be on the horizon, and yay for that!

Seeing the croci (crocuses?) blooming all over the neighborhood and being in the sun as much as I have lately (The Mister made me go for an easy-peasey walk yesterday between naps) has really helped me to regain some perspective.

I'm sure talking it out next month will also do a world of good. Thanks!

after the sale of doom they should give you a nap-sort of like in kindergarten with graham crackers or smores even....and comfy blankets or at least time to put head down on desk.to me the giant sale seems like setting up/taking down craftshow setups, and day after is always nonproductive day at least mentally
